Skydive Cape Cod is not accepting any reservations for the 2014 season. A pending contract renewal has forced us to temporarily halt our operations. We are looking forward to resuming our activities in April 2015. Thank you for your support.

First skydive procedures

  • Step 1:

    Harnessing
    up

After completing the waiver of liability in the office, you will be harnessed up and trained by an USPA licensed Instructor.

  • Step 2:

    the plane
    ride

After the 15 minutes of training, you will walk out to the airplane with your assigned instructor. The plane ride will take up to 15 minutes.

  • Step 3:

    Getting
    ready to jump

As you are enjoying the views of Cape Cod, you will kneel up and your harness will be strapped to the instructor's parachute harness.

  • Step 4:

    Exiting
    the aircraft

Your instructor will talk you through the exiting procedure. "Right foot out on the step, hold your harness, turn to the right, smile and..."

  • Step 5:

    Free Fall and
    body position

Immediately after leaving the plane, you will tuck both feet up behind you and arch up like a banana.

  • Step 6:

    Under the
    parachute

After about 45 seconds of free Fall your chute will be opened. We will then talk you through readjusting your harness.

  • Step 7:

    Landing
    procedure

When getting close to the ground, you will be asked to lift your feet up, allowing the instructor to touch the ground first.
